Cara Hu focuses on due diligence, new deal execution, and portfolio company support at Five Elms. Prior to joining Five Elms, Cara worked at Kinzie Capital Partners, a Chicago-based private equity firm.
Cara holds a B.A. from Northwestern University, where she double majored in Mathematics and Economics (graduated with honors), with a Financial Economic Certificate from Kellogg School of Management.
Cara enjoys all kinds of sports, in particular marathons, strength training and surfing. She has finished two marathons. She also loves playing the piano, reading books and traveling, she’s visited 30 countries to-date. She is passionate about volunteer work and is a member of Rotary International.
